Slide for the Entscheidungsnavi from the conference

Univ. Prof. Dr. Rüdiger von Nitzsch presented the Entscheidungsnavi at this year's Digitalen Hochschule NRW conference and focused on the advantages for teaching.
For some years now, students at RWTH Aachen University have had the opportunity to carry out a bonus project with the Entscheidungsnavi on a voluntary basis. The students invest an average of 8 1/2 hours in working on a self-selected decision question and receive a grade bonus upon successful submission of the project file.
An evaluation of the exam results of the last few years has shown that students who have successfully completed the bonus project pass the upcoming exam significantly more often and also consistently achieve better grades. The students also express themselves in a consistently positive manner with their feedback, which is requested at the end of the project. This applies to the tool itself, as well as to the experiences made with it and the gain in competence. Overall, the Entscheidungsnavi can therefore be seen as a complete success for the digitization of teaching.
